Me : "Hi, my name is mumblemumble and I'm...I'm...an Ad Person."
Group : "Hi, mumble."
As previously disclosed, I am an FOD. (The "D" stands for David.)
This terrible debilitating condition affects everything I (and by extension BPE™) see : no media/messaging makes it through our house unevaluated, unmarked upon. And of course, as happens almost everytime you carefully regard any aspect of human endeavor, Sturgeon's Theorem is again proven true : 90% of it is crap.
(And don't ask me how this percentage is possible, given what we "know" about distribution.)
So it was with much delight that I found something from the elusive 10% on a local Emerald City bus ride.
My enjoyment of the ad was greatly tempered however, by my discovery that the agency that created it seems to be, on some level, hovering right on the edge of the 90th percentile.
